Tis the season for engagements! Not quite yet into Spring but I can smell the love in the air. Trinh and Brandon were referred to me by a good buddy of mine. Cute young couple with a very cute little dog, Myko. I believe he maybe their ring bearer.

Tacoma is definitely a place that is overlooked by lots of Seattle photographers. Their downtown is super clean and has really low traffic on the weekends, yet the area yields some of the most interesting backdrops for photography.
We started at the UW Tacoma Campus which is nestled in the heart of downtown within walking distance of a variety of good college eats to high class Thai food @ Indochine. There's a ton of brick buildings which gives the area a very rustic feel. Dominating the city skyline is the home of Chihuly's Glass museum, which resembles a giant diamond cone.

Lucky for us the weather held up and we were able to get some really fun shots which exploited a lot of what Tacoma has to offer.

We drove around for a few minutes but finally found this totally rad garage. It was completely covered in graffiti. Great spot to do some fun kung fu shots.

I had a red gel on one of my flashes which made Brandon look like he was part of the mural in the background.
