Employing the rule of thirds.

Want your photos to look interesting? Learn about the rule of thirds. In photography that means imagining this grid over your subject as you frame for the shot.



In this photo of Lynnette and Shawn at ODell Center in Kent. I incorporated the rule to incorporate the beautiful leaves from the garden.



Here's the final photo. Notice how their heads fall into the upper right point. It makes the image interesting and allows you to incorporate more of the environment into the photo.


Here's a cropped shot of the same pose and background. Notice how the her eye level falls on the interest point.
