Aurora
Senior Photos

Bellevue, WA
Assist: Taylor
My Senior Year was in 1997 so you can kinda figure how hold I am. At the time I thought I looked like a grown adult, didn't I? Well shooting Aurora's senior photos made me second guess that idea. It's like the older you get the harder it is to tell how old someone younger than you really is.
Now everyone under 21 looks 15 and anyone 22-30 looks 25. Aurora was no different, she maybe turning into a senior but with the childish innocence and giggles she reminded me of my time as a kid in Junior high.
The technical gore:
6pm start time, we shot at the park near Bellevue Square mall. The light was starting to drop and there was slight sun rays poking through the clouds. Regardless shooting in direct sun is a big no no. So we found a shaded grassy area to start. The light was nice and even. I did introduce my Canon 580ex Mii flash diffused through an umbrella to give some contour to the face.
Side note:
Today I used Taylor as my assistant for the first time and he worked out great understands photography and used time efficiently.
Check out those freckles! Totally awesome.
Flash Camera right with a homemade grid.
