This is one power couple that will set out to conquer the world. I had a fantastic time with James and Elaine. James was a colleague of mine from many years ago. I was very happy to know he chose me to take his wedding photos.

The venue was spectacular. Salish lodge has to be one of the best gems of Washington. The view of Snoqualmie falls is a breath taking site.

I have to admit that this was one of the most poetic weddings I've had the honor to shoot. Elaine's twin sister was a riot as the officiant, she almost stole the show. James dad, a British business man, was doing a pseudo rap about advice to keep a happy wife and Dustin one of my good buddies had a great best man's speech but got a bit of pay back on the dance floor.

There were so many elements to Sophy and Patrick's wedding. I was impressed by how well it was executed.

Sunday: Cambodian traditional ceremony with full on parade of the grooms side.
Monday: Since my wife was friends with Sophy we all flew along with her family to attend the Cabo wedding which fell on a Thursday.

I have to preface the fact that I'm obviously more of a visual person. I hate reading fine print. So when I received my passport card recently I saw that we can get into Canada and Mexico with it. However I didn't realize it was just by Land or Sea. The fight to Cabo from Seattle was a bout 5hrs. Plus about a 40 minute layover. We get into Cabo and they get me for not having the passport book, apparently the card is a completely useless if you fly.

Instead of making any exceptions, they put me on the next flight to Seattle. BLAHHHH!@ So basically I had the longest round trip ever back to Seattle to pick up my passport book.

Lai is an avid soccer player and I love the fact that Kathryn decided she would book the soccer field on Gennessee to do their formals at. Just shows much they think about they other person. It couldn't come at more fitting time. Since the US was still alive in the round of 16 in the Fifa World Cup.

They have proclaimed that they hate to take photos, but their pictures say otherwise. They look great!

I love being around fun couples. Makes my job easy. I know it can be a bit nerve racking to play model for a couple of hours, so I usually try my best to lighten the mood while we do our photo sessions. Typically, after about 20 minutes I get a much more relaxed couple and it definitely translates into better photos with more organic emotions.

Giselle and Andy was definitely a pleasure to work with. Their energy was awesome and I love the interaction they had.
