This is the 2nd Wedding I've done for this family. And they have to be one of the wildest groups to photograph. It was a Sunday reception and the Seattle Seahawks were playing. Naturally all the guys were glued to their phone checking the play by play. I like remaining professional but couldn't help but ask every now and then to see what the score was. =)Unfortunately our beloved Seahawks ruined their undefeated record that day but it wasn't enough to ruin the attitudes of the Bridal party. It would take a lot more to knock the smiles off of this group.

The camera loves these two. They have great chemistry and it shows. This was an awesome fall day at Scuplure park. The leaves were vibrant with color and the sun stayed out for most of the time. Just one of those days that would have been great to do a photo walk or in this case, fun engagement photos.

It's funny to me when I put couples into situations they wouldn't normally be in when posing for photos. I can generally get a sense of far I can push the them. Annie and Hubert were definitely on the shy side so I kept it PG. =)

If it were up to me I would make every couple roll around and take steamy photos on the beach. LOL

Ever since our little man was brought into this world on 9/18/13. I've been day dreaming about doing his newborn photos. Now of course since he is the son of a photographer, I had to make the special and extraordinary. Luckily for us our good friend Ming is an amazing crocheting champ. She put together a super cute dinosaur outfit.

I didn't realize it, but while I was editing the photos, I noticed that he kinda looked Bowser from my super Mario Days. =)

An and Aimee came to me nearly 2 years ago and was definite about having me shoot their wedding when the time came around. I'm glad that they did. I had a terrific time with the them! Thankfully the sun cooperated even though the forecast had been rain all week. We had to change our formal photos last minute to take advantage of the unexpected sunny weather and I'm glad we chose Alki. Regardless though of where we went to shoot or if it had doen the typical Seattle thing and rained, this group had so much energy and fun loving personalities that rain would not have been able to stop them from having an amazing wedding.

I love it when the bridal party is super fun and relaxed. Chang and Khanh's wedding was a definitely a model for how cool a wedding party should be. They had fun and the camera loved them. Add to that some great home food and incredible weather. The photos from this wedding turned out amazing!

Usually after an all day wedding I'm beat. The long hours, heavy bag and constantly running to get the shot makes wedding photography for me feel more like a marathon. Here's an example of me not being complacent with staying in one position. This was a great action to get in a sequence. And you never know what potentially could happen so don't stand still expecting the action will come to you. At the end of the day capturing those big smiles makes all the difference.

I'm a big fan of experiencing and photographing new venues, so I was very excited to shoot Tuan and Christy's wedding @ Hall of Fauntleroy in West Seattle. It's great venue with a lot of old world charm and wonderful gems of furniture strewn about the place. Based on the details I was able to tell that these two took a great deal of time and care to plan their wedding.

The day started off calmly enough with the bridal party prepping for the big day. I can tell that there were some nerves and reservations, but that all went out the window with a few shots of scotch in the stretch SUV limo and got crazy by the time the reception was in full swing.

It's great to shoot baby photos of couples who's wedding I've also photographed. Dustin & Kim who are my good friends/co-workers/clients, is just a special one for me. They were my 1st ever wedding clients. So now to have the opportunity to shoot their beautiful twin girls marked another milestone.
